Dom was educated at Hitchin Boys’ School before taking his degree with Montfort University obtaining both a Business and Law degree. Following his degrees, Dom joined Jones Hunt in 2004 and trained under Michael Jones as a Chartered Certified Accountant and later as a Chartered Tax Adviser.
In 2013, Dom was promoted as a Partner of Jones Hunt and became a co-owner in the Practice. In October 2015, Jones Hunt joined forces with Keelings, Dom becoming co-director and co-owner of Jones Hunt and Keelings. During this time Dom worked alongside Eric Pritchard, who had over 50 years tax experience, helping Dom gain further exposure to High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWI) and chance to tackle more complex and varied tax cases. In March 2021, Jones Hunt and Keelings, merged with Nicholsons, presenting Dom with the opportunity to work alongside Peter McKay, gaining further knowledge and exposure with larger Owner Managed Businesses.
Dom now has over 20 years' experience, and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked with companies of all sizes from many business sectors. Dom has an extensive client portfolio ranging from larger sole traders, large partnerships, owner managed businesses, property developers, franchises, doctors, international companies including PLCs, specialising in taxation, tax planning, company reorganisations and restructures including mergers and acquisitions.
Dom's experiences enable him to see business through the eyes of an entrepreneur, providing both commercial and practical advice, helping Entrepreneurs make well-informed decisions.
Dom is married with a young son and is extremely passionate about Formula One, supporting his beloved Scuderia Ferrari.
